Manaaki Sessions for Clinicians and Researchers
The manaaki sessions are a safe online space for both Māori and non-Māori alike to participate in open discussions around our understandings and experiences of Te Tiriti.
Time & Location
31 Mar 2022, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
About the event
Manaaki: to support, take care of, give hospitality to, protect, look out for - show respect, generosity and care for others.
Who are you as a Tiriti partner and how does Te Tiriti apply to your research and/or clinical work?
The manaaki sessions are a safe online space for both Māori and non-Māori alike to participate in open discussions around our understandings and experiences of Te Tiriti. Central to these discussions are how we might bring together the two Treaty partners to ensure that the benefits of research and clinical work are both visible to and reaching into our Māori communities.
You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you like, no preparation, registration, or homework required!
Manaaki sessions will commence Thursday 31st March 7pm (this time coincides with regular evening karakia times) and will continue on a 3-weekly basis. These sessions will be run by Misty and the team of IUE Ltd. Please feel free to contact Misty directly for more information email@example.com .
