MedTech CoRE Associate Director Professor Anthony Butler on Radio New Zealand

In this interview on Radio New Zealand, MedTech CoRE Associate Director Professor Anthony Butler speaks about the MARS spectral molecular scanner that he is developing with his team. This scanner provides 3D colour images of structures inside the body. It is expected to revolutionise the detection, diagnosis and monitoring of diseases such as cancer, bone, joint and vascular diseases. Professor Butler also discusses the potential applications of this scanner which brings together technology from high energy physics and medical imaging.
