  • TTM Future Leaders Speaker Series: RAP funding – what is it and how do I get it? Friday 10th June 1pm – 2:30pm, Various locations The Te Tītoki Mataora Future Leaders Module are excited to announce the first in-person instalment of our speaker series! If you are an EMCR working in medtech or brain research, come along and hear how you can use the RAP fund to connect with others and strengthen your research.   • TTM Commercial Translation Speaker Series: Getting Technology into Hospitals Thursday 23rd June 12 – 1pm, Online Now that you have a technology with the potential to solve a crucial healthcare problem, how do you actually get it into the hospital? This is a key question for many in the healthtech industry and can be difficult to answer if you don't know where to look. It can take significant preparation through collaboration with clinicians and clinical trials to support the adoption process in healthcare workflows. Join us for an in-depth discussion with our panel of experts in the field to answer some of your key questions and talk to some of the challenges in this process.


  • TTM Manaaki Sessions for Clinicians and Researchers Next session 23rd June 7pm, Online Who are you as a Tiriti partner and how does Te Tiriti apply to your research and/or clinical work? The manaaki sessions are a safe online space for both Māori and non-Māori alike to participate in open discussions around our understandings and experiences of Te Tiriti.   • TTM HealthTech Week Monday 27th June – Thursday 30th June, The Cordis Auckland Titled 'Aotearoa - A Revolution in Health', this year's HealthTech Week will delve into all aspects of the New Zealand Health Reforms and what these changes mean for the health sector and health tech industries. We are continuing to partner closely with our colleagues from the Medical Technologies Association of New Zealand (MTANZ) and Callaghan Innovation to kick off the week with the Combined Stakeholder's Innovation Day on Monday 27 June. This day showcases New Zealand’s innovation in medical technology and the ecosystem that can support our vibrant sector from research, development and commercialisation to market access. From Tuesday 28 – Thursday 30 June, the CMDT and Aotearoa Brain Project invites you to join us for the first Te Tītoki Mataora (TTM) MedTech Research Translator Forum. The TTM Forum comprises interlinked day-long programmes packed with opportunities to consider successful development of cutting-edge health technologies. We will cover diverse topics emphasising partnerships, research, design, clinical validation and implementation, and commercialisation. It is designed to be highly interactive to facilitate accidental collisions with existing and new colleagues to spark great ideas, and at the same time address the issues that are important in translational research.
