Pacific Peoples make up 8% of the total New Zealand population, yet they experience some of the worst health inequities in the country.  With medical technologies reshaping the future of healthcare delivery in New Zealand, there is an opportunity to improve Pacific health outcomes, as noted in the Ola Manuia Pacific Health Action Plan (2020-2025).  In the development of such technologies, it is vital Pacific Peoples’ health and wellbeing perspectives are considered throughout the design and implementation process.

Join us for an exciting Zoom talanoa (conversation) with three Pacific leaders in health, wellbeing, and community engagement to learn more.  The Future Leaders Module will also be showing this at the University of Auckland Grafton Campus to provide early-career researchers with an opportunity to network (and lunch!).
