TE TĪTOKI MATAORA WEEKLY 27/11/2023

Do you study cardiovascular health?

We invite you to contribute to the advancement of women’s cardiovascular health research. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death among women worldwide, yet there is a significant knowledge gap in understanding women-specific risk factors, symptoms, and outcomes due to research primarily focusing on men.

To address this gap, the Global Cardiovascular Research Funders Forum (GCRFF) is seeking information from the international research community on the most urgent needs for women’s cardiovascular health research. The Heart Foundation of New Zealand is sharing this as a member of the GCRFF.

You can access the RFI and submit your responses here by 15 January 2024. Your expertise and perspectives will guide the GCRFF’s efforts to support ground-breaking research and make a positive impact on women's lives.
